If you have the mechanical avid disc brakes you must get these levers. Best $25 you can spend if you have the bb7's. Last year was a full SRAM X9 drivetrain, but I didn't upgrade the brake levers. After installing the Avid Speed Dial 7 Brake Levers I wonder why I waited so long. The brake levers mate perfectly with SRAM shifters for a clean look. Easy to install and great ability to dial in the brake tension to suit your liking. You won't be sorry with this purchase. The red knob allows you to adjust the height of the "cable puller" which in turns improves the braking power if you set it at the right height. Amazon sell this lever at the lowest price with free shipping in compare with any where else that I can find....Highly recommend to other bikers!
